Wireless streaming, via Bluetooth supports the LDAC codec while the box also features a full-stage monaural differential circuit design, the chassis includes an ICEpower Class D amplifier. The company has mounted the DAC and the preamplifier on one side of a 10mm thick high rigidity aluminium block and the power amplifier module on the other side to lower noise and the heat radiation effect of the power amplifier. Teac also uses its own OVCS (Octa Volume Control System) to improve sound quality. It features a, “…ladder resistance switching-type volume including eight circuits. The positive and negative sides of the left and right channels are independent and further separated by two circuits in parallel, linked together.” The Reference 7 supports both Tidal and Qobuz streaming audio plus Android and iOS control apps.
